Home for the Holidays
As the snow is flurrying outside, I am finally getting a chance to sit down and share how I spend my Home for the Holidays! I have finished another amazing semester at Iowa State and I am finally getting a chance to relax from college finals, work, and a chance to visit a few of my favorite destinations I love most in my hometown. So grab a cup of coffee, a cookie, or your favorite holiday treat and join me in my
Home for the Holidays.......
Coming home for the holidays comes with the warmest feelings and also everything I own (sorry, mom)!! Winter break is a college students favorite time because... 1) Mom does your laundry for you. 2) You get to sleep in your own bed! 3) Home-cooked meals all break long!!
When I'm not at home, I am usually at my grandparent's house drinking coffee, being waited on by my Grandma, and eating all of my favorite meals! They definitely spoil me and I do not know what I would do without them! Their home is one of my top places I am happiest to just BE.
I love going out and about in small-town Boone, Iowa! My absolute number one stop is the Dutch Oven Bakery! I could eat there everyday of my life (a chicken salad on a croissant or a sloppy joe basket are my favorites)!! A dutch letter or chocolate sprinkled donut are a must, too!
Another one of my favorite places to have a cup of coffee or lunch is The Livery Deli. If you're a coffee lover try their 1699 Pour Over with any one of their desserts, pure heaven & HOLY ENERGY!!
As I only have one week left of break, I have loved being able to unwind with my family, friends, and my town. I would love to hear your favorite Home for the Holidays moments/memories in the comments below! Thank you to my followers for a wonderful start to my b.e. good Blog! I can't wait to share my adventures in 2018 with you! Wishing you all a 2018 that brings adventure, joy, and many opportunities to just BE YOU! Happy 2018!!
P.S. Stay tuned my next blog post will be coming VERY soon........
With love,
