A Week With My Wardrobe: College Edition

As I am slowly falling back into a routine, so are my outfits! I would describe my college style to be more casual and easy going. Always on the go from class to class, I make sure comfort is my number one priority. 

My schedule this semester is a little odd compared to most. I don't have class on Monday, Wednesday, or Fridays. On my days off I enjoy studying at coffee shops, as well as working at Modern Dress! Unfortunately that means Tuesdays and Thursdays I am on the go from 8am-5pm.

The outfits I chose to show are some of my favorite basic pieces I have in my closet. I also included what I like to wear when I am off for class and working! 

 

For my Monday outfit, I chose a black high-low maxi skirt paired with a fun grey tank top! This outfit is so easy to dress up with jewelry, or a fun shoe!

On Monday's I usually like to find a study spot outside on campus! :-)

Tuesday

If I were to choose an outfit that best fits me (and could honestly wear everyday of my life) it would be this one.

I love this simple outfit for so many reasons. First, I love mixing black and brown together in my outfits. The brown just pops so well with the black tank. Secondly, if you know me, you know I always always always am wearing hats. They just complete almost every casual outfit for me. Lastly, this outfit is so moveable with the wide legged jeans! LOVE!

Wednesday

Wednesday is here, which means work day!

This is the perfect break in my week to get my mind off of class and onto work! Every Wednesday I drive back to my hometown of Boone to work at a bridal store, Modern Dress. This job has been the best learning opportunity for me when it comes to fashion, business, and people skills! For this outfit I paired our new logo t-shirts with a delicate tulle skirt!

Back to class for my Thursday outfit! 

Can you sense the pattern that I have an obsession with black!!!

I would say 70% of my closet is black, white or grey. Black is just so easy to throw on and pair with anything!  I love this form fitting workout outfit, because it is so easy to run around campus. And why wouldn't I put a hat with it??

Friday

Friday! Let's get ready for the weekend!

My favorite color lately has been olive. I think this is the perfect color to transition from Summer to Fall. Especially with changing weather, I always like to keep my outfits lightweight.

I can easily say it feels so good to be back at college surrounded with all of my friends and back to learning lots of new things!
