A Week in My Wardrobe

From lake life, to city life, to family time on Sunday it has been a fun-filled week!
For my first post I wanted to share a week in my summer wardrobe! I started this week in Clear Lake, Iowa visiting one of my best friend's, Kate! There is no better place to spend the Fourth of July week than by the water.
After a relaxing week by the lake, we headed up North to visit my Minnesota bestie Alicia! Minneapolis is the perfect place to shop, unwind, and find the cutest places to lunch with my girls.  This past Saturday we spent the day in Uptown eating lunch on the rooftop at Stella's, spending way too much money on clothes, and ending with dinner on a ferris wheel at Betty Danger's.
As sad as I was to leave my friends, I couldn't wait to spend time with my family.  I was honored to be chosen as my cousin Andrew's Godmother for his Baptism!
Nothing fills my heart with more joy than spending time with my family and friends.
With love,

Fourth of July at Clear Lake

Whether it's a bikini or a one piece red, white, and blue is a must for the Fourth of July! My bikini is from Target, which is my favorite place to get cheap swimsuits that I can mix and match! Kate's one piece is from zaful.com. This website has really different pieces of clothing, swimsuits, and shoes for super cheap!

Bikini: Target

One Piece: Zaful

Black Tank with Olive Green Cargo Pants

Earth tones are always my go to when picking out an outfit. I could wear black everyday of my life! These pants have been my absolute favorite this summer and they are from Salvation Army!

Tank: Old Navy

Pants/Belt: Salvation Army

Wedges: Gap

Off the shoulder stripe one piece swimsuit

I LOVE one piece swimsuits. You can't go wrong with any type of one piece swimsuit. The off the shoulder makes this a stylish suit to wear to the beach!

Swimsuit: Tjmaxx

Sunglasses: Target

Enjoying summertime at the Lake

I could spend my whole summer in denim shorts and a simple shirt. I especially love this look because each piece is from Salvation Army!

*Tip* If you have a hard time finding shorts that are too tight or just aren't quite long enough, cut off a pair of jeans and make your own! Every pair of denim shorts I own I have distressed and made myself!

Boho Dress for Summer

I love the darker tones of this dress! This dress is perfect if you are going for a boho look. The long-bell sleeves are so cute and stylish for a summer dress!

Dress: Target {I got this on clearance, but click the link for a similar style!}

Grey/White Dress in front of Starbucks

This multi colored grey dress {which is from my favorite store!} was so comfortable and perfect to pair with white heels. The transitional patterns from top to bottom made it an eye catcher.

Dress: Altar'd State {unfortunately the dress is no longer available}

Heels: Target
